Your data rights
Request access, correction, erasure or other privacy rights from MGM Energy and escalate concerns to Nigeria’s data protection regulator.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
You do not need a CRM account or a paid service to raise a privacy request. Use the contact details below; please do not post personal information publicly.
1. What you can ask for
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, rights apply subject to their legal conditions and exceptions.
- Information about processing and access to your personal data.
- Correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Erasure, restriction or objection where the relevant conditions apply; direct-marketing objections and consent withdrawal.
- Portability where the legal conditions apply, and concerns about a significant decision based solely on automated processing.
- A complaint to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission and other remedies available by law.
2. Make a request
Email info@mgmenergyng.com with the subject ‘Privacy request’ and tell us which right you wish to exercise. Use the email address or contact number associated with the enquiry where possible; include only enough context to find the record, such as an approximate enquiry date, channel and reference if you have one.
An authorised representative can contact us, but we may need reasonable evidence of authority and identity. We ask only for proportionate verification needed to avoid disclosing or deleting someone else’s records. Do not send a passport, NIN, password or full identity document unless we explain why a specific verification step is necessary and agree a secure method.
3. What happens next
We will acknowledge and handle requests promptly and without undue or unreasonable delay, verify identity where necessary, identify relevant records and explain the action taken or any lawful limitation. Requests are normally free. Necessary verification, processor coordination or a legal exception may affect the steps needed; we will explain a relevant delay or limitation. We will not treat a request to remove a browser draft as permission to delete an active contract or another person’s information.
For records not obtained from Meta’s platforms, legal obligations, a contract, warranty/service duties, a dispute or a minimal marketing-suppression record may justify lawful retention. These general reasons do not override the stricter Meta Platform Data rules in our deletion instructions. If we cannot grant all of your request, we will explain the relevant reason and your options for escalation. A privacy notice is not an automated deletion guarantee.
4. Withdraw optional choices
Use Manage cookies to stop optional GA4 on this device. To stop the quarterly note, reply to it or send ‘Unsubscribe’ to info@mgmenergyng.com. To stop optional promotional messaging, tell MGM through the channel or email us. Necessary responses to your current request and lawful service/transaction records are different from optional marketing.
5. Escalate a privacy concern
Contact MGM at info@mgmenergyng.com or write to 12 Benoni Briggs, Guzape, AMAC, FCT, Nigeria. You may also complain directly to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission using its official complaint channels. MGM’s internal process does not limit that right or lawful court remedies.
