Data deletion instructions
How to request deletion of MGM website, CRM and connected WhatsApp or Messenger data, including stored voice messages and transcripts.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Request a review of information held by MGM. These are manual request instructions, not an automated deletion callback or a promise that sending an email immediately deletes every copy.
1. Send your request to MGM
Email info@mgmenergyng.com with the subject ‘Data deletion request’. Tell us the email address, telephone number or messaging account associated with your MGM enquiry, the channel you used and an approximate date. State whether you want to delete a particular conversation, a website enquiry or all eligible MGM records. A short description is enough; do not resend the full conversation or sensitive attachments.
Where possible contact us from the address or account used previously. If you no longer have access, explain that. We will arrange proportionate identity or authority checks without asking for unnecessary documents. Do not send login credentials or a verification token.
2. What the review covers
Depending on your interactions, the review can cover enquiry/contact and CRM records, connected business-inbox leads and conversation data, source voice audio and transcripts, related notification/audit records, and relevant email or processor copies. We will check which records can be erased, anonymised or restricted and what instructions to relevant service providers are appropriate.
We will acknowledge and handle the request promptly and without undue or unreasonable delay, subject to necessary verification and applicable legal exceptions. We will explain the outcome or a relevant delay or limitation; retaining a restricted backup or mandatory transaction record is not the same as keeping it available for ordinary sales follow-up.
3. Retention limits and Meta-derived data
For records not obtained from Meta’s platforms, legal record-keeping, an active contract, warranty/service responsibilities, security investigations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims may justify lawful retention of relevant information. A minimal suppression record may be retained to respect an opt-out. We will explain the applicable reason. These general reasons do not override the stricter rule for Meta Platform Data below.
For information obtained from Meta’s platforms (‘Platform Data’), we act promptly on requests from you or Meta to correct or delete it. When deletion is requested or the data is no longer needed for a permitted purpose, we delete the associated Platform Data as soon as reasonably possible and make reasonable efforts to ensure our service providers do the same. Deletion is also required when we stop operating the service through which it was obtained or applicable law or Meta’s terms require it.
We retain such Platform Data despite a deletion requirement only where applicable law or regulation requires us to keep it. We document that requirement, retain proof for Meta if requested and explain any resulting limitation to you. An active contract, warranty or possible legal claim alone does not override this rule.
We review relevant backup and processor copies as part of the request. A backup lifecycle does not override the Meta Platform Data deletion rules or create a separate retention exception. We do not promise a verified universal backup-purge deadline. Any records lawfully retained must remain restricted to their permitted purpose, not ordinary sales follow-up.
4. Remove data saved on your device
Open the Energy Exposure Assessment and use Clear all answers to remove its saved local draft. Your browser’s site-data controls can also remove cookies, calculator drafts, Academy progress and preferences. Manage cookies withdraws optional analytics; it does not delete information already submitted to MGM or Google.
Clearing a local draft, closing a chat or deleting a message on your own device does not recall previously submitted CRM records, email or platform copies. Request MGM’s separate records review if needed.
5. WhatsApp, Messenger and other platform copies
If you contacted MGM through a Meta service such as WhatsApp or an enabled Messenger connection, identify that channel and the associated account in your request. MGM can review information under its control; platform-held copies, recipient copies and other independent controllers are subject to their own rights and deletion processes. Removing a platform connection does not automatically erase MGM’s business records.
These instructions are publicly available without login. They are a human-handled deletion route for MGM’s records, not a Meta signed-request callback, confirmation-code service or an Instagram integration claim.
6. If you need help or disagree
Contact info@mgmenergyng.com for an update or explanation, or write to MGM Energy Ltd, 12 Benoni Briggs, Guzape, AMAC, FCT. You can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission without giving up your other legal rights.
