Sales, cancellations and returns

How MGM quotations, Naira/VAT prices, cancellations, product returns and installation remedies work, with Nigerian consumer rights preserved.

Last updated: 28 October 2026

A clear quotation comes before a commitment. This notice explains the request process and your rights; your project-specific scope and commercial terms belong in the written agreement.

1. From enquiry to agreement

Requesting an assessment or quotation is not an order, a financing application or an obligation to purchase. MGM confirms the proposed equipment, site conditions and scope before issuing the applicable quotation. The website does not operate an online checkout.

Before accepting, check the equipment/specification, design and installation scope, inclusions/exclusions, programme, responsibilities for permits/inspections, access and third-party work, payment milestones, delivery/installation costs, validity period and warranty documents. Acceptance, ownership/risk and any deposits must be addressed in that agreement, not inferred from a button on this website.

2. Naira prices and taxes

Website prices are in Nigerian Naira. VAT treatment is stated against the relevant product/package: do not assume all catalogue figures use the same basis. Ask for clarification if a label is missing or unclear. A quotation should itemise the price, applicable taxes and any delivery, installation, civil-work or other charges, with a clear total before you commit.

Survey findings, availability or changes you request can affect an unaccepted quotation. Changes to an accepted scope or price should be explained and agreed through the contract’s variation process; this notice is not permission for arbitrary unilateral charges or misleading price claims.

3. Cancellation and advance orders

Contact info@mgmenergyng.com promptly with your quotation/order reference and the cancellation you request. Applicable rights depend on the goods/services, timing and contract. Where a reasonable cancellation charge is permitted by law, we will explain its basis and relevant work or procurement commitments rather than treating every deposit as automatically forfeited.

Special procurement, made-to-order goods, design work already performed and installed equipment may need a case-specific review. There is no blanket ‘no refund’ rule on this website, and no claim that every EPC project has an identical cooling-off period. Contract terms cannot remove mandatory consumer rights.

4. Defective goods, returns and remedies

Tell MGM if goods are defective, unsafe, not as agreed or if installation/service work falls short. Provide the quotation/invoice reference, equipment identification, issue and supporting evidence where safe. Eligible repair, replacement, refund or service remedies will be assessed under the contract and applicable Nigerian consumer law, not only a manufacturer’s warranty.

Please agree a safe inspection, collection or return process before moving heavy equipment. Do not attempt electrical disconnection, open a battery cabinet or ship an installed battery yourself. This safety request does not remove a lawful right to reject or return goods. We will explain any reasonable inspection findings, proposed remedy and lawful costs rather than imposing undisclosed charges.

5. Delivery, installation and support

The agreed quotation/contract should identify the programme and dependencies such as safe site access, roof/structural readiness, electrical works, utility arrangements and customer approvals. MGM will explain a material unavoidable delay and proposed next steps; this notice does not waive statutory standards for quality, reasonable care or timely service.

Manufacturer product warranties and MGM’s workmanship/service responsibilities are distinct. Confirm the documents and conditions applicable to your specific equipment and installation. A performance illustration is not a guaranteed saving or output.

6. Complaints and statutory rights

Write to info@mgmenergyng.com if there is a problem with an order, payment, service or proposed remedy. Keep your quote, invoice, payment evidence and correspondence. We will review the issue and explain the outcome. Nothing here limits non-excludable rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act or access to the relevant regulator or court.
